Dark Side of the Moon

Now... you might think that the era of our parents gave us nothing more than hippies, hot pants and the electric toothbrush... but there is a wealth of music that most people of our age and culture seem to shun on... for instance bands like "the who" ("the what?" as menzie says it), pink floyd, Bob Dylan, Beatles and many many more.... Now don't you think it a little wierd how our parents tell us not to do drugs or not drink too much of this or do that... when the music of their era that they listened to is full of lyrics portraying drugs, the effects of drugs, trips and other related drug experiences.

Example.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

DO i need to spell it out for you?

The whole song is three verses about a LSD trip, the song wa named after LSD... and thats the beatles.... a well known "friendly" band for all with no explicit lyrics.... so next time your dad/ mum gets out an old beatles record.... why not tell them... OK lets listen to songs about what happens when you take drugs....

Bob Dylan is another culprit.... assuming you all know the song "Mr. Tambourine Man".... Another trip... this time arguably about drugs....

Moving on to the less known bands.... Like Pink Floyd... who are one of my favourate... even Zia likes them..... i mean wow.... ok anyway... these guys... all they ever sing about are drugs... in every song.. save a few... there are ALWAYS links to drugs..... just listen to thier lyrics.....

Song: Comfirtably Numb

"its just a little pin prink, you may feel a little sick"

Hello... Needles as a vessel for taking drugs made obvious...

more to come.... when i get back from climbing...
